Devi Suktam Fire Ceremony to honor the Goddess Mother

Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 | 5:00 - 6:00pm PST

Throughout India and most of Southeast Asia, the Fall season plays host to a rich confluence of traditions and rituals honoring Gods and Goddesses in their myriad forms. It is a time of powerful transition from the bountiful harvest season to the natural world's darker, more inwardly focused winter season.

Through the inspiration of our revered Guru, Sri Baba Hari Dass, our Satsang community has always gathered to celebrate the Navaratri festival to honor the inspiring story of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman as told in the spiritual epic, Ramayana. We are grateful that so many of you joined us, virtually and in-person, throughout this year's Navaratri celebrations.

Diwali brings closure to the Navaratri ceremonies. It is observed as a beautiful way to honor the return of Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman to Ayodhya after their 14 year exile.

Please join us next Tuesday, Oct. 25th, for a special Diwali celebration. In the evening, before Arati, we will have a brief puja and fire ceremony with recitation of the Tantroktam Devi Suktam and offerings of ghee and herbs to the Divine Mother in her myriad forms. Arati at Ganeshji and Hanumanji's Temples will follow at 6pm.

Reservations required for in-person attendance, see below for options.
