POSTPONED: (New Date TBD) Full Moon Vedic Fire Ceremony for Rain

Tuesday, November 8, 2022 | 5:30 - 8:00pm PST

This event has been postponed due to Rain! New Date: TBD.

Please join us for a Vedic Fire Ceremony to pray for the wisdom, strength and courage to honor our duty as custodians of the Earth as prescribed in the Scriptures. In Chapter 3 of the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna explains the importance of the Yajna sacrifice. Baba Hari Dass writes in his commentary: “All beings are evolved from food; from rain food is produced; from sacrifice arises rain; and sacrifice is born of prescribed action.”

According to the scriptures, humans are the most intelligent creatures and we have a duty to honor the natural laws for the maintenance and well being of creation.

The Vedic Yajna ceremony is rooted in the underlying principle of harmony and order that governs the manifest creation. The highest duty in life according to the scriptures is to align our lives with the cosmic order through the practice of self sacrifice (Yajna). We are blessed to have the opportunity to come together and experience these ancient teachings.

Jai Sita Ram!!! Jai Hanuman!!! Jai Gurudev!!!

The program will begin at 5:30pm PST and will include Puja, Yajna, and Arati, concluding by 8:00pm.
